If you look closely you can make out a dark figure. The two top arrows are pointing to what looks like hands and forearms in a praying position. The bottom arrow points to the feet. His head looks as if it is upward to the sky. Is this the figure of a man praying his last prayer before being hung from this old tree? Williamsburg was known for using this method to execute people in the 1800s.
